Why is a pilot interested in perfume (cologne?)? People in the US don't wear it anymore. It stinks. And if perfume molecules can get thru that mask, can't Covid viruses get thru twice as easy? Oh, Covid has to ride in on a giant atp,ozed molecule. Okay, I kinda got it. So viruses don't fly around in the air? Or do they? We have to do some critical thinking here for a sec. Later.

so does the turbulence cause the flaps to move which then causes the yoke to move so much? i would’ve thought the planes hydraulics were so strong and would not get pushed around by turbulence or wind and would hold the flaps steady basically only moving if the yoke was moved but i guess my thoughts were wrong lol. orrr is the yoke moving so much to try and correct the plane from being thrown around in the turbulence?

I think the air line carriers have to put couple pilots. Like over the road truck driver couples . It is hard staying away from your family and friends. Being a commercial pilot is the same as over the road Truck Driver or Bus driver . Only few people can handle staying away from your home town , family kids birthday kids homework your kids important events , holidays , doctors appointments …… many more . You burn yourself to give happiness and service for others . You burn like a candle to give light for others . You should think before you join such kind of jobs . Do not take such a huge loan for things that you don’t work on it.

Life styles for Truck Driver and A pilot is about the same you have to sacrifice your kids your family your health . Just for livings to provide a food for your family , you are paying the most important of your life and your families life too. The sacrifices are huge.

Back in ‘84 I was on a Ansett Airbus flight out of Adelaide to Perth and was allowed into the cockpit (as you were back then) and the pilot in the left seat got up and let me sit there while he went for a pee. The plane was leveling off and the co pilot let me move the joystick a little to finish the manoeuvre, it sounds unbelievable now, but that’s a true story. I sat there and talked to the co pilot for 5 mins, I was 26 at the time, fantastic experience!
